In the OPA Eastern Region, awards are given annually to those people who have shown outstanding contribution to the organization. The recipients this year were: OPA president Ron Hache for his tremendous support to the Eastern Region. Shown with Angie Hache (far left) and Cindy Van Empel-Popowich. Steve Duperre for his performance as a judge and a competitor. Steve has consistently shown expertise head-judging the OPA Eastern Region events and he also won his class in Classic Bodybuilding at the 2008 OPA National Qualifier. Brent Felstead for his outstanding performance as a competitor, winning his class at the 2008 CBBF National World Qualifier and representing Canada at the 2008 IFBB World Masters Championships. Natalie Waples for her outstanding performance as a competitor, winning her class at the 2008 Arnold Amateur IFBB International Championships and the 2008 IFBB North American Figure Championships. Natalie is now Canada's newest IFBB Pro.
